Moving from stress to peace
It seems that stress has come to be accepted as a normal part of life. Just something that we have to endure as we work our way through life towards brief windows of peace and contentment.
When peace finally comes our way, it’s often short-lived. A weekend away, dinner with a friend or just a little down time watching TV. Before long, our time is up and we have to get back to the stress of our “normal” day-to-day lives.
I can certainly relate. I’ve been there. But over time I have come to see that a drastically different experience of life is possible.
Peace, calm and ease can permeate our daily experience of life, turning once-stressful situations on their head.
The interesting thing is, we don’t need to drastically change our life circumstances to find this peace. This peace is found right here and now, in present experience, through a shift of perspective and a drastic change in the way we see the world, our reality.
Seeing clearly is the key. Awakening to what’s really true in life. That’s where we start, and that’s where it ends. Moving from stress to peace and happiness.
